thanksgiving recap

yeh i know im so late hehe. for the thanksgiving holiday my bf n i went to vegas and stayed at the wynn hotel. we didn't really do much as the main purpose of the trip was to relax. we did a lot of eating though and i gained 3 lbs gah! not much picture was taken because i kept forgetting my camera. i did manage to take some pictures of the room =D so without further adiue...

the tv and mini bar area. they have sensors on those suckers and is very sensitive! one can of potato chip will cost u 8 frikkin dollars! such a rip off.

i didn't wanna go when it was time to leave. i wish we could have stayed longer!

back in the day part deux!

ahh my apologies for the lack of updates. back in the day part deux is definitely long overdue! life's been kickin in high gear lately especially that the holidays is here =D

how was everyones thanksgiving?! mine was very nice and relaxing. the bf n i headed over to vegas wednesday night and stayed until friday. it was for our 2 yr anniv slash thanksgiving vaca. we stayed at the fabulous wynn hotel which was so awesome =D i'll post pictures in another post when i upload and edit them =)

nehoots, onto "back in the day part deux" lookin back at old photos definitely brought me back to a lot of memories. i'm the kind of person who broods about the past a lot. i have a memory of an elephant so i remember mostly everything. it amazes people that i remember the most random things LOL. i'm sure my friends love it when i bring up stuff especially the funny ones that have been long forgotten like the time i got so wasted in vegas that i threw up in the parking lot and left a huge stain on the ground LOL we drove by the next day and it was still there! sorry tmi hahaha but it was some good times...

looking back at the pictures i think i look a bit mature now no? i don't exactly look like the average 27yo but i look a tiny bit older dont u think? hahaha. i know you must think im crazy for wanting to look older. in all honesty it gets old hearing the phrase "you should be thankful you look young!" sometimes lookin young just gets to me because people seem to not take me seriously -_-; i sometimes get treated like a kid because i look like one. bleh! oh and i hate hate hate getting carded all the effin time in vegas! u have no idea how many times i have to take my id out of my wallet ugh. my friends actually count how many times i get carded n make a bet out of it. i know its a given that i'd get carded in vegas cos i look so damn young but seriously what underage moron would have the guts to seat at a frikkin table without knowing they'd get busted for being underage?!?!?! !@$#%$^ aiites sorry for ranting lol ima get on with the pictures hahaha

i love this song! so chill n goes well with a blunt n a 40 LOL jk i'm way over that phase(ahhh the memories!). so nehoots, i was reminiscing a couple of weeks ago and i thought about this song and a post. i thought it would be fun to show u ladies n gents how i've changed (physical wise) over the years..... LOL i can't believe ima show u guys my awkward years... my bestie sent me a couple of pictures that are like 8 yrs old. i have more pix but i just need to scan em. when i get around to it, i will definitely post my hs pix LOL i was a bit of a geek back then. so onto the pictures....

I was bored one night and ended up playing with my ben nye lumiere palette. I got the palette awhile back but never really used it. I think I just like to look at it cos the colors were so gorgeous. A lot of people were raving about it on youtube and so I thought what the heck so I got it. Lesson learned to never get something just cause everyone is raving about it. I need to buy things that I will actually use! And lately I have been good with that =) So here is the look I came up using the ben nye's chartruese and jade. I also used Mac's black tied for the smokey effect.



I used Mac's Petticoat on me cheeks. I loves it!



It's not all neat cos like I mentioned I was just playing with it hehe =P



Anyhoots, so last week Monday I made my way back to the MAC counter at Macy's to get the Sheer Minerals MSF in Petticoat. I originally went there when it first came out on the 16th but ended up not getting anything. I wanted to get Petticoat since a lot of people were raving about how awesome it is and since I don't own any msf's I thought why the heck not. I had previously wanted light flush but I have no luck in finding it at any CCO's I've been to. So anyways, I swatched petticoat on my arm and it wasn't what I had expected. I thought it was gonna be a lighter pink so I went home staring at my arm lol. I read a lot of good reviews about it so I convinced myself to go back and give it another go. AND I am so glad I came back! It was a bit embarassing because one of the MA recognized me -_- she was like "u should've gotten it last week when u were first here" I was like -_- "oh yeh i should've but I wasn't sure if I really wanted it" She was pretty nice and helped me out a bit in convincing me more that I should get it. She suggested getting the Soft and Gentle as I had told her that I've been looking for a highlighter. So yeh I got both and I love em! It's so nice, glides on like buttah and not very overpowering like I thought it would. I use the 188 to apply and it gives u just the right amount of color.

I guess this is a getting to know me part deux!

1.) I think the word DUTY is hilarious! I laugh everytime I hear it fo reals. LOL I'm smiling while I type this. My Bf and friends think I'm weird but they think of me whenever they hear the word duty cos they know if I were there I'd be chuckling =P

2.) I am deathly afraid of clowns no joke! AHHHH they are just so effin creepy as fuck! Ronald McDonalds creeps me out too. Please be nice and do not use this against me lol.

3.) I am scared of blood. I was cutting a piece of veggie once n it slipped n cut my finger. There was a lot of blood and I freaked out. Next thing I knew I was on the couch, my roomate had dragged me from the kitchen to the living room as I had passed out LOL yes I am a wuss. I get weak when I see blood. You must be curious about Aunt Flo every month huh? Well that stuff doesn't freak me out because I know when to expect it. Bleh it's hard to explain but yeh I ain't scared of that.

4.) I have a scar on my right eyelid that I got when I was 3. From what my parents told me, I was standing on a chair leaning over the table to reach a mango, slipped n hit the sharp corner.

5.) I love it when my ears are cold. I play with it til I fall asleep. The bf says my ears are eerily very pliable.

6.) If ever I have a daughter, I want to name her Ella. My mommy n daddy met in college. They took an english class together called English 11 A. My dad came up with that code name for my mom. Clever eh?
